The early-access service
Takedown provides a free workspace to compare content you supply, organize review cases, export supporting information, and prepare preliminary requests for manual review. The service is an early version and may change. It does not provide continuous monitoring, marketplace discovery, a cloud backup, direct platform submissions, or managed legal services.
Similarity is a starting point
Text and image signals can help prioritize a closer look. They do not determine whether a product was copied, whether someone owns a right, whether use is authorized, or whether infringement occurred. Similar descriptions, shared backgrounds, lawful reuse, and authorized distribution can produce similarities. AI results and image comparisons can be wrong.
Your content and decisions
You are responsible for the content you supply and the accuracy of statements you make. Only use material you have appropriate rights or permission to use for the review. Consider ownership, licenses, authorized sellers, legal exceptions, and relevant context. Do not use Takedown to make knowingly false accusations or submit misleading requests.
Requests and notices
Generated drafts are preliminary review requests, not completed legal notices or legal advice. You must check and complete any required information, choose the correct reporting channel, and make your own submission. Requirements vary by platform, right, and jurisdiction. For U.S. copyright notices, the U.S. Copyright Office’s notice-and-takedown resources explain the general requirements. Obtain qualified advice when needed.
Availability and outcomes
No removal, enforcement result, detection accuracy, service uptime, or long-term availability is promised. Save exports of important cases. The browser can lose local records if its storage is cleared, becomes unavailable, or is full. Takedown does not charge for this early-access workspace.
